What is Orthopedics?

We have a team of top orthopedic, sports and spine therapists to address these common injuries and complaints. We still believe in providing a one-on-one, individualized plan for every orthopedic and soft tissue conditions that comes in our door. Before we start our treatment, we do an exhaustive exam of your body to help us focus in on what your specific problem(s) is to guide our treatment program. Our success comes from using the latest evidence-based treatment techniques to help you heal and recover quickly, return to active functioning and improve the quality of your life.

Our physical therapists are experts at identifying and treating orthopedic movement problems. Initially, the orthopedic and sports therapists at ADI Rehab will do a thorough evaluation of your condition to determine why you are having your orthopedic issues. From there we can develop a program specific to you and your problem. During your recovery, we will continue to re-evaluate and modify your program as needed during the entire course of treatment to ensure that we are on the right track to recovery. This will guide us in establishing your treatment goals below.

How do we do it and what techniques are used?

To assist you in meeting the above goals, your physical therapist will devise an individualized treatment program which may include:

  • Manual therapy (mobilization, passive range-of-motion, Graston/ASTYM and soft tissue manipulation & more) 

  • Cupping

  • Acupuncture

  • Therapeutic exercises (including core stabilization)

  • Modalities (cold/ice, heat, electrical stimulation, low-level light therapy (LLLT), iontophoresis)

  • Postural education

  • Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFR)

  • Functional activities (including sports specific activities)

  • Home exercise program

  • Most importantly our orthopedic therapist continues to learn and master new the latest in physical therapy, orthopedics and sports medicine treatment theories and techniques.
