Ellen Kohler PT, OCS graduated from the University of Missouri with degrees in Biology and Physical Therapy.
Early career experience was the treatment of long term disabilities. She also had an interest in orthopedics/sports medicine and transitioned to orthopaedic private practice.
Ellen attended Kaiser Permanente's one-year Orthopaedic Residency Program. Simultaneously, she was invited to attend a one year course in the Maitland Technique, 1 weekend/month.
Ellen is Board Certified in Orthopaedics through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists.
She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Therapists (AAOMPT).
Her main focus has been on the spine, shoulder, and knee injuries. She also treats hip, foot/ankle, wrist, and elbow injuries. She enjoys working with patients of all ages.
When not working, Ellen enjoys hiking, biking, going to the gym, attending plays, and the movie theater.
